We design retirement plans and portfolios that are prepared for market downturns, not derailed by them.
Full-service wealth management for retirees and those approaching retirement.
Full-service wealth management for retirees and those approaching retirement.
What We Do
Our service is built for those who’ve spent decades saving and investing and are now asking the harder questions: When can I retire? How much can I safely spend? How do I minimize taxes? What happens if the market drops 30% in my first year of retirement?
We build a plan around your life (not a cookie-cutter template), and manage your investments alongside it. Planning and portfolio management work together because the best tax strategy in the world doesn’t matter if your portfolio isn’t built to support it.
Everything we do is ongoing. This isn’t a one-time binder that sits on a shelf. It’s a relationship: regular meetings, proactive adjustments, and someone to help when life throws you a curveball.
What Clients Get
How We Work Together
A quick breakdown of our onboarding process and how we work with clients
30 minutes · Complimentary
A conversation to see if there’s a fit. We’ll learn what’s on your mind, what you’re looking for in an advisor, and whether our expertise aligns with your situation. No pressure, no sales pitch.
One meeting · Complimentary
This is our signature process. Before we meet, you’ll share your financial information through a secure portal. We’ll do the homework upfront so we can use our time together to walk through a high-level roadmap showing what we’d focus on as your advisor. You’ll walk away with clarity — whether or not you hire us.
Weeks 1–4 as a client
After signing the engagement agreement, we’ll collect everything: investment statements, tax returns, insurance policies, employee benefits, estate documents. We’ll transfer your accounts to Schwab or Altruist and begin building your financial dashboard.
Weeks 4–8
We’ll deliver your comprehensive financial plan: retirement income projections, tax strategy, Social Security analysis, insurance review, estate planning recommendations, and investment portfolio construction. A working document — not a binder for a shelf.
Weeks 8–12
We execute on the tax plan: Roth conversions, tax-loss harvesting, asset location optimization, and withdrawal sequencing. This is where planning meets action — coordinating with your CPA to ensure everything is implemented correctly.

“We have just wrapped up our first year of being a client of 7 Saturdays Financial and my wife and I could not be any happier with our decision to allow Allen to guide us on our financial journey. The entire process from the initial meeting to developing an unbelievably detailed plan to implementing the plan Allen has consistently taken the time to listen to our needs and then patiently explains the options. To sum up our experience I would say that Allen and 7 Saturdays Financial feels more like you are part of a team and not just a client. We are looking forward to many more years of being with the 7 Saturdays Financial team.”

What It Costs
$12,000 / year
Billed quarterly ($3,000/quarter)
This includes everything: financial planning, investment management, tax strategy, and ongoing support. There are no additional charges for meetings, phone calls, or plan updates.
Situations with above-average complexity — such as taxable accounts exceeding $1 million, closely held businesses, or multiple real estate investments — will result in a custom proposal above our minimum. These are examples; they are not an exhaustive list.
Fee Comparison
How much are you paying them?
Unfortunately, the legacy “percent of assets” model can cause high-net-worth families to overpay for wealth management.
Use this table to understand the fees you’re paying to your current advisor.
| Portfolio Value | 0.5% Fee | 1.0% Fee | 1.5% Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| $1,000,000 | $5,000 | $10,000 | $12,000 |
| $2,000,000 | $10,000 | $20,000 | $30,000 |
| $3,000,000 | $12,000 | $30,000 | $45,000 |
| $4,000,000 | $20,000 | $40,000 | $60,000 |
| $5,000,000+ | You probably don’t want to know! | ||
With a flat fee, your cost doesn’t rise as your portfolio grows. The better we do our job, the more you save compared to a percentage-based advisor.
Ideal Client
We work with a small number of families — intentionally. Our clients typically share a few things in common:
Many of our clients are engineers and executives from companies like RTX (Raytheon), Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman — analytical professionals who appreciate evidence-based management and detailed planning.
We intentionally keep our client base small so every family receives our full attention. When you call, you get Allen — not a call center.

You’ll walk away with clarity — whether or not you hire us.
7 Saturdays Financial is proud to be a flat-fee wealth management firm.
That means a flat annual fee (in dollars), including investment management.
This modern pricing model is transparent, reduces conflicts of interest, and is
often a better value than asset-based pricing.
Unfortunately, the legacy “percent of assets” model can cause high-net-worth families to overpay for wealth management.
